Jorge Arredondo Sevilla

Jorge Arredondo Sevilla was born and raised in the border town of Tecate, Mexico, crossing the border to go to elementary, middle, and high school for a decade. Arredondo studied philosophy at Lumen Gentium Catholic University in Mexico City where he engaged in research on Our Lady of Guadalupe, a Marian apparition that gives hope to believers throughout the Americas.

Arredondo completed his master of theological studies at Harvard University studying the Nahuas, the largest Indigenous group in Mexico and Central America, and their relation to the Marian apparition and subsequent evangelization in Mexico. Arredondo is currently a Ph.D. candidate in theology at the University of Notre Dame.
