University of Chicago Veritas Forum: God, the Grind, and the Good Life

-

Location: Ida Noyes Hall, University of Chicago

Life on campus can be relentless: a frantic pursuit of opportunity, success, and the dream of living one's best life. But what is this ultimately all about? What are we all chasing, and why does it matter? Join us as we explore these and other pressing questions.

Hosted by the Veritas Forum, this moderated conversation will feature Shigehiro Oishi, professor of psychology at the University of Chicago; Meghan Sullivan, professor of philosophy at Notre Dame; and moderator Michael Le Chevallier, senior associate director of the Lumen Christi Institute.

Since 1992, the Veritas Forum has invited university communities to dialogue with respect and curiosity about the ideas that shape our lives.
