This publicly accessible educational module helps train AI auditors on how to report on AI systems’ performance and ethical compliance. The module is based on John Gallagher’s in-depth analysis of interviews with 108 machine-learning scientists, researchers, and domain experts. The project’s primary goal is to enhance AI auditors’ documentation and reporting capabilities, especially in addressing the complexities and ambiguities inherent in AI systems, and to boost ethical communication practices in AI research and auditing.
