Notre Dame–IBM Technology Ethics Lab Call for Proposals
Each year, the Lab releases a Call for Proposals (CFP) for the purpose of funding practical and applied interdisciplinary research in tech ethics.
Fellowships

Faculty Fellowships
Open to scholars, scientists, social scientists, and artists in all fields who are conducting research on our yearly research theme. Faculty Fellows typically have a faculty appointment at their home institution, but these fellowships are also open to independent researchers, postdoctoral scholars, and those who have recently received their Ph.D. (or equivalent) degree.

Practitioner in Residence Fellowships
Open to non-profit administrators, entrepreneurs, faith leaders, community organizers, social workers, and others outside the academy looking to make headway on an ethical issue or challenge facing their organization.

Signature Course Fellowships
Supported by a major grant from the John Templeton Foundation, the Signature Course Fellowships fund faculty who have a vision for translating research on human flourishing into large-scale, public-facing, pedagogically innovative courses that have the potential to become a cornerstone in their university’s curriculum.

Graduate Fellowships
Open to Notre Dame Ph.D. students entering their 4th or 5th year in the College of Arts and Letters whose research and career interests centrally involve interdisciplinary engagement with major ethical questions.

Undergraduate Ethics Research Fellowships
Open to undergraduates from Notre Dame interested in serving as research assistants for Notre Dame faculty, developing their research and communication skills, and expanding their scholarly and professional networks.
