Adam Gustine
Director, Program in Virtue Ethics, Education, and Formation
Biography
Adam is the Director of the Program in Virtue Ethics, Education, and Formation at the Institute for Ethics and the Common Good. In this role, he leads the integration of virtue ethics across the Institute’s research, education, and formational mission. Before coming to ECG, he served for several years at Notre Dame's Institute for Social Concerns, most recently directing the Center's work in justice education. Adam's professional experience includes a wide range of other faith based and non-profit contexts. He is the author of A Working Theology of Labor: Justice, Dignity, and the Common Good, Becoming a Just Church: Cultivating Communities of God's Shalom and Ecosystems of Jubilee: Economic Ethics for the Neighborhood. He is married to Ann and they, along with their three kids, love calling South Bend home.
