Biography
Meng Jiang’s research fields are data mining, machine learning, and natural language processing. Jiang earned a BE in computer science and technology from Tsinghua University in 2010, followed by a PhD from the same institution in 2015. His research focuses on Computational Behavior Modeling for applications such as intelligent assistance, recommender systems, and question answering, and his most recent projects have examined knowledge-augmented NLP, instructed LLM, personalized LLM, LLM machine unlearning, graph neural networks, graph data augmentation, and graph diffusion models. Many of his projects include collaborations with subject matter and domain experts to improve technology outcomes and address ethical challenges by design. Jiang has published award-winning articles in numerous top computer science venues and has received numerous grants and honors, including the prestigious NSF CAREER award.
