Prior to joining the Institute, Matthew worked on Capitol Hill as a senior policy advisor in the United States Senate, where he advanced policy on human dignity, biotechnology, and artificial intelligence. Before his time on the Hill he was a senior consultant with Solomon Strategic Advisers, a leadership development and organizational change firm, and previously served as associate professor of ethics at a university in the midwest.
